It's a rainy Thursday in Atlanta : (

But the good news is that we need desperately need rain for our flower garden and lawn, so I'll be less apt to complain about it --- I suppose.

Well, big Open House at my home coming up on Saturday for my silver jewelry business. I'll be taking off from my "regular" job on Friday afternoon to get things ready. My husband is a huge help when it comes to my displays AND (almost as importantly) he's trained as a chef and helps with snacks and refreshments! Not bad, huh? He's got a real eye for setting up things to visually POP with all his experience doing weddings, parties and big events, so he really helps me to display the jewelry in a very unique and eye-catching way. If I could talk him into it, I'd probably bring him on my regular home shows (other than the ones at my home) to help me do those as well. Maybe I'll just need to offer him a title in my company and pay him to do visual merchandising ;-)

Anyway, I've invited our entire community which is just at 200 homes. Seeing as how parking is kind of limited, I'm hoping that everyone sort of spreads out their arrival and departure times or we may have a visit from the HOA or worst yet the city officials for blocking the road -- yikes!

I've had a terrific week for business. Set up a few more parties, recruited a new rep for my business that is a stay at home Mom in Pennsylania and completed preparations for an open house at my office building set for next Tuesday. So, all in all, not bad considering it's Thursday morning.

Anyway, signing out for now to have some coffee and begin my journey for today.....I'll keep you posted.
